Matt Parkinson

Gas and Appliance Technical Specialist | Educator

Matt is a highly experienced and licensed appliance technician with over 25 years’ industry experience. He holds a Type A Gas Work Licence, Type B Gas Licence, and a Restricted Electrical Licence, and has worked extensively servicing and installing both electrical and gas appliances across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.

As a specialist trainer at Bizmatrix, Matt brings a strong technical background combined with a genuine passion for education. He is committed to developing capable, compliant technicians and enjoys sharing his real-world knowledge, practical insights, and problem-solving skills with his students to help them succeed in the industry.

Darrel Vecchio

CEO | Gas and Electrical Technical Specialist | Educator

Darrel is the Founder of Bizmatrix and a licensed Electrician (Special Class / Electronic) with Type A and Type B gas credentials. He brings extensive experience across industrial and commercial gas systems, electrical work and commercial food equipment.

Darrel also supports industry development through mentoring, technical leadership and his role as President of the Queensland Gas Association.

Darrel’s mission is to lift industry standards, inspire excellence, and help safeguard the future of the trades by empowering the next generation with practical skills, confidence, and professionalism.

James Penny

RTO Manager | Gas and Electrical Specialist | Educator

James is the RTO Manager at Bizmatrix and an experienced Type A and Type B gas trainer.

A qualified gas fitter with more than 35 years of industry experience, he holds a Gas Work Licence and Restricted Electrical Licence.

James oversees training operations, supports trainers and staff, and contributes practical technical knowledge to course delivery and development.

Shane Cameron

Lead Gas Trainer and Assessor

Shane is a Lead Trainer and Assessor with more than 25 years of industry experience.

He is a licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic and holds gas and restricted electrical credentials.

Shane delivers gas fitting, gas servicing and stationary gas engine training, giving students current, practical knowledge that supports safe, compliance and industry-relevant work practice.

Marcus Zammit

Senior Electrical Trainer and Assessor

Marcus is a Senior Electrical Trainer and Assessor specialising in Restricted Electrical Licence training. He holds a Certificate IV in Electrotechnology and an Electrical Licence, supported by experience in workplace training, WHS, HSEQ compliance, risk management, auditing and incident investigation.

Marcus combines technical knowledge with a strong focus on safety, compliance and practical workplace outcomes.

David Williamson

Senior Type B Gas Educator | Technical Specialist

David is a Senior Type B Gas Trainer and Technical Specialist at Bizmatrix. He brings extensive technical and industry experience to his training role and is committed to helping students understand complex concepts through practical, workplace-focused learning.

David values continuous learning and enjoys sharing his knowledge to build students’ confidence, capability and technical judgement.

Jordan Ash

Type A Gas & Restricted Electrical | Educator

Jordan is Bizmatrix’s Senior Trainer in Victoria for Service Type A Gas and Restricted Electrical Licence training. He holds relevant gas, plumbing and restricted electrical licences and brings extenstive industry experience to his role.

Jordan also supports virtual classrooms and course development, helping students build the practical skills and confidence needed to work safely and competently.

Matt Waugh

Advanced Type B Gas Educator | Technical Adviser

Matt is a Trainer and Assessor for Bizmatrix’s Advanced Type B Gas Course and also provides technical advice.

His experience includes Type B gas appliances, HVAC heating systems, pressure vessel inspection, servicing, fault-finding, repairs and compliance.

Matt helps students connect technical requirements with practical maintenance, documentation and regulatory responsibilities in the workplace.

Graham Owen

Type A Gas Specialist | Educator

Graham is an Assessor at Bizmatrix with extensive experience across gas, plumbing, electrical servicing, workplace health and safety, and technical education.

He has held senior training and service management roles and has experience developing and facilitating workplace training.

Graham brings practical industry knowledge and a strong focus on safe, effective and compliant work practices.

Adrian Davidson

Caravan and Marine Gas Type A Educator | Technical Adviser

Adrian is a Type A Gas Trainer and Technical Adviser specialising in caravan and marine gas systems.

He brings extensive practical experience in these specialist environments and supports the development of external technical learning activities.

Adrian shares his industry knowledge with students and colleagues to strengthen safe work practices, technical capability and understanding of specialist gas applications.

Administration & Customer Service Officer

Jill works in administration and customer service, supporting students, trainers and other team members throughout their interactions with Bizmatrix.

She manages documents, keeps information organised and helps day-to-day administrative processes run efficiently.

Jill focuses on making communication clear, support accessible and each student’s experience as straightforward and positive as possible.

Scarlet Capewell

Student Records Officer

Scarlet provides part-time administration and customer service support, assisting with document handling and day-to–day administrative tasks.

She is organised, efficient and proactive, helping information and internal processes move smoothly behind the scenes.

Scarlet’s work supports the wider team and contributes to a consistent, positive experience for students and other Bizmatrix stakeholders.

Tabitha Stoton

Sales & Administration Officer

Tabitha is a Sales and Administration Officer who supports customer enquiries, student communication and the day-to-day operation of Bizmatrix.

Drawing on her experience in sales and cusomer service, she helps clients and students access accurate information and timely assistance.

Tabitha is committed to building positive relationships and providing a professional, helpful experience.

Tania Pattison

Sales & Administration Officer

Tania is a Sales and Administration Officer with 20 years of experience in tertiary education in New Zealand. Her background includes student administration, administration management and academic administration, supporting students throughout their learning journey.

She also has managed course student information in student management systems, including enrolments, invoicing, funding requirements and regulatory data reporting.

Tania is committed to providing responsive, professional support and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Jayne Norsworthy

Student Registration Services & Administration

Jayne supports student registration and related administrative processes at Bizmatrix. She helps ensure student information and course requirements are recorded accurately, follows up outstanding documentation and assists students as they prepare to commence training.

Jayne’s friendly and approachable manner helps provide a positive experience for students while supporting the day-to-day needs of the wider Bizmatrix team.

Chelsea Hollis-Neath

Student Registration Services & Administration

Chelsea supports students after enrolment by coordinating registration and completing related administrative processes. She helps ensure student details and course information are recorded accurately, follows up on registration requirements, and assists students as they begin their training.

Her role supports a smooth transition from course enquiry and enrolment through to commencement.

Michelle Crossan

eLearning Student Support Officer

Michelle provides eLearning student support and monitors students as they progress through online course activities. She helps connect students with trainers, follows up where assistance may be required and supports clear communication throughout the learning process.

Michelle focuses on making online study more manageable and ensuring students receive timely, practical and supportive assistance.

Erica provides learning support administration throughout the enrolment and training process by assisting with enrolments, course registrations and day-to-day administrative support.

Erica uses her organisational and technical skills to help students access information, navigate learning requirements and progress through their training with greater confidence.

Teppie is the Compliance Administrator at Bizmatrix and supports quality assurance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Drawing on her experience in the vocational education and training sector, she conducts compliance reviews, coordinates audits and helps maintain policies, systems and processes. Her work supports consistent training practices, regulatory compliance and ongoing organisational improvement.

Anna provides digital marketing and learning management system support for Bizmatrix. She coordinates social media and online content, helps maintain consistent branding and supports the organisation’s digital learning platforms.
