Enrolment Eligibility Check
for
Restricted Electrical Licence Course - Melbourne
These questions help Bizmatrix determine whether you are suitable to enrol in the Restricted Electrical Licence Course in Melbourne based on your trade or occupational background, licensing pathway, availability and ability to meet the course requirements.
The questions cover:
- The limited and restricted electrical work you need to perform incidental electrical work as part of your primary trade or occupation as allowed by your ESV advice letter for either Class 1 and/or Class 2 Restricted Electrical Licence.
- Any eligibility advice or documentation you received from Energy Safe Victoria (ESV).
- Your access to technology to complete online learning and assessments. (A laptop is required for the online learning and assessment.)
- Your availability and commitment to complete the online and scheduled face-to-face learning, training and assessment.
- The support required from your employer.
- The required safety gear like electrical gloves, LOTO, the tools and test equipment required for the process.
- Any support or reasonable adjustment you may need to participate in the course.
Please answer each question accurately. Some responses may indicate that Bizmatrix needs to obtain further information, verify supporting evidence or discuss your circumstances with you before your enrolment can be confirmed.
Identifying a support need does not automatically make you unsuitable for the course. The information will help Bizmatrix determine whether appropriate support or reasonable adjustment can be provided.
This questionnaire is an initial assessment only to see if the course is suitable to meeting your needs and goals.
Note: Completing the questionnaire or the Bizmatrix course does not guarantee that a restricted electrical work licence will be issued. Licensing decisions are made by Energy Safe Victoria.
