Need more qualified trades peoples? SIX (6)ways on how funding can help to up skill your team !

Darrel Vecchio is a small to medium business owner and  been self employed most of his working career. Starting as a humble electrician  having built up his qualifications by adding additional qualifications and licences to expand his skills and qualifications.

Having employed 100’s of Electricians, Plumbers, Gas fitters, Fitters, Appliance techs, Electronics techs, Refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanics- he was always investing in each team member with ongoing education and training both in house and external.

Every time he’d employed a new say Electrical technician, the training begun! The most important part was to get them cross trade licenced in gas and if it was a   licenced plumber or gas fitter, then he would have them cross trained and licenced with a restricted electrical licence.

Back then, we did not have access to any funding, so much of the training was self-funded by us the company, including the training to upskill and licence train me for my Full gasfitting licence.
